Lumbarda Hike

You leave the town of Korcula by transfer to get to the spread out village of Lumbarda boasting wonderful beaches as well as wine-making tradition ever since the Illyrians who had inhabited the area long before the Greeks came to colonise it. Beginning of the tour passes through the inhabited parts of the village with vistas opening to the mountain of Saint Ilija and magical old vineyards of indigenous Grk vines rooted in the sandy soil for thousands of years.

Next stage takes you toward the furthermost eastern point of the island and then the trail will take you to the magical south side and along the beach ideal for a swim stop.

Last but not least you’ll arrive at a great family-run winery for wine tasting accompanied by traditional snack and in the end the transfer will take you back to Korcula town.
